British comfort food at its finest
With a menu comprised predominantly of British and European dishes, you’ll find all your favourite comfort food dishes on offer, with a modern twist. Tom Aikens, the brains of the operation, has put a lot of time and effort into the inventive food offering at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea – and it shows.
Housed in an old townhouse on the former site of The Blenheim Pub, tradition is stitched into the very fabric of this place. It’s the kind of place that would equally impress both your best mate and your mum. Brunch is kind of a big deal at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea, so naturally we’re huge fans as a result. The talented chefs take simple, traditional dishes and flip them on their head with excellent results. Anyone for some eggs Benedict with cacklebean eggs, Parma ham and truffles? Alternatively, how about some French toast with caramelised apples and cinnamon cream? It’s the stuff that brunch dreams are made of.
There’s a strong focus on high quality British produce and ingredients (all locally-sourced where possible). As a result, the dishes at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea are bursting with colour and flavour. Some of our favourite evening menu dishes include the Cumbrian pork chops with burnt apple puree and crackling; the spatchcock Norfolk quail with peanut sauce, pickled sweet cucumber and buttermilk and the spicy Devonshire crab cake with cucumber and quinoa salsa.
With a relaxed atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff and a stunning drinks offering to boot, Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea ticks every box. So get ahead of the posse and head to Cale Street just around the corner from Kings Road now!
